Where It All Started​
We started Dirty Hands, Happy Heart with a simple goal: to bring shop class back and give kids the confidence to build, fix, and create with their own two hands.

Both of us grew up watching our parents take on everything from car repairs to home projects, and we learned early on not to be afraid of hard work or failure. Those lessons shaped who we are, and we wanted to pass that same grit and self-reliance on to our own kids and now, to other families too.

Thanks to a lot of support and one well-used garage, DH3 was born. Every workshop we host is about more than just tools and techniques; it’s about helping kids discover what they’re capable of and giving them space to grow into it.
